Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Athloft provides personalised endurance-training plans and coaching through its websites and applications. Athloft Multisports Private Limited operates the Athloft app. Athloft LLC supports Athloft services for international athletes. In this policy, “Athloft”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the Athloft entity responsible for the service you use.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent tointeract@athloft.com.

2. Scope

This policy applies to Athloft’s websites, web application, iOS and Android apps, coaching services, and related support. A third-party service you choose to use with Athloft may also have its own privacy policy.

3. Data we handle

Depending on the features you use, we may handle:

  • Account data, such as your name, email address, authentication provider, account status, and security records.

  • Athlete profile data, such as birth year, country, units, height, weight, training availability, goals, experience, and onboarding answers.

  • Training data, including assessments, threshold and training zones, prescribed plans and sessions, completions, progression, and performance history.

  • Journal data, including structured feedback and optional notes. A note may contain health information you choose to provide, so we treat journal text as sensitive.

  • Subscription data, such as plan, currency, payment status, and provider references. Payment providers process card or bank details; Athloft does not store complete payment-card details.

  • Technical and support data, such as device and app version, request identifiers, security events, crash or diagnostic information, and messages you send to support or beta feedback.

4. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure your account;

  • provide onboarding, training plans, coaching, and progress features;

  • process subscriptions and maintain transaction records;

  • respond to support requests and beta feedback;

  • protect Athloft, its athletes, and its services from misuse; and

  • understand and improve service reliability and product use.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use journal free text for advertising, analytics, cross-athlete search, automated decision-making, or artificial-intelligence processing.

5. When data is shared

We disclose data only where needed to operate the service, including to:

  • an assigned coach or mentor, who can access only athletes currently assigned to them; journal notes are not available to general administrators;

  • infrastructure and delivery providers, such as Amazon Web Services and Apple’s TestFlight service;

  • authentication, analytics, communication, and payment providers where the related feature is enabled; and

  • regulators, courts, professional advisers, or another party when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and safety.

Providers may process data in countries other than your own. We use contractual, security, and access controls appropriate to the service and data involved.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep personal data only while it is needed to provide Athloft, secure accounts, satisfy legal or contractual duties, resolve disputes, and maintain auditable coaching and transaction records. Different records can therefore have different retention periods.

You can delete individual private journal notes. You can also request account deletion in the app or by emailing us. Account deletion revokes active sessions, removes login identities, deletes private journal-note text, and removes or de-identifies direct profile identifiers. We may retain limited records where the law, an active subscription, fraud prevention, safety, or a legal claim requires it.

7. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, protected credential storage, logging safeguards, backups, and operational reviews designed to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and you should use a unique password and protect access to your device and email account.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, object to or limit certain processing, or raise a complaint. You can also update available profile fields and privacy choices in the service.

Send a request from the email address connected to your account tointeract@athloft.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

Athloft is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data to Athloft.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Athloft changes. We will publish the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice where a material change or applicable law requires it.
